Starting on January 14th, Refuge Recovery of Pittsboro will begin weekly meetings at the NCZC on Sundays at 5:30 p.m.
Refuge Recovery is a Buddhist-oriented path toward recovery from addiction based in mindfulness, forgiveness, and compassion. When practiced with generosity and kindness, these heal the suffering addictions have caused in our own lives, and in the lives of others.
Our peer-led meetings include meditation, readings from the book Refuge Recovery and other sources, and group discussion. All are welcome. No prior meditation experience is needed.
