The goals of the NCZC Veterans and Family Group are inclusion and support, using the dharma teachings of the Buddha to grow through the emotional and traumatic responses which often arise in military service.

Ceremony of Gratitude

We will have 2 periods of seated meditation (zazen) followed by a "Ceremony of Gratitude" which will consist of food offerings, statements of gratitude, and chanting. Please bring a donation of canned or boxed food for a local food pantry and a monetary donation that will be donated to Oxfam for world hunger relief. Friends and family are welcome and may join at 11 a.m. after the sitting.
